Back to School

Addi started school last week & is loving it. "School" is at our church and just on Monday & Wednesday, but she asks to go every morning. She wears her new light-up sparkle shoes & on good days, carries her own back pack, lunch box & nap mat.
I've since, made her this new nap mat, which gets her even more giddy about the thought of going to school.
This is her new classmate Lexi...
and her teacher, Mrs Cindy.
And again, on good days, she gives Sydney goodbye hugs. It makes my day :)

Snip it's

For Addi's 1st official hair cut, I took her to this super cool place called Snip-it's. It a kid's wonderland, complete with fun chairs, cartoons & animal crackers. What kid wouldn't want to get their hair cut here??
Addi was less than impressed.
The 8 minute hair cut seemed like eternity to her.
The sucker helped...
And then she got to give Mr Snip-it's a high five & get a prize for being so good. I'll know next time to let her do this first.
Silly face...
Sweet face...
Mimi & Sydney came with us.
Looking at this picture, it might not be long before Sydney's 1st hair cut...

It's a BOY!!

I'm SO thrilled to tell you that come January, we will be adding some BLUE to the Wall household! As much as we love princesses & tutus, it's exciting to think that baseball & matchbox cars lie in our future!

Gig 'em!

This is my favorite time of the year to live in Aggieland!
Despite the traffic jams & 2 hour wait at Cheddars, it's just exciting to be here! Ben has been counting down the days (& hours) till football season. And it's finally here! We joined the other 80,000 overanxious Aggie fans on campus 4 hours before the game started. We had just enough time to stop by the Foundation's tailgate, see the Calvary's horses & find the perfect spot to watch the band march in.
Nana & Peeps joined us!
Addi was proud to show off her newly found "gig em"
This was her first view of a packed Kyle field.
She pretended to be shy...
Yeah, right!!
Loud & crazy is right up her alley.
Sydney had a great time too!
We spent half time on the grass behind the bleachers.
Addi LOVED the jumbotron!
We then practiced our "gig em" once more before getting a front-row seat to watch the guys run back on the field. I'm not sure who was more excited, Ben or Addi??
And here's one more of sweet Sydney, just because she's sweet.
