Happy New Year!

What a night. New York City has nothing on us! While most of you “rocked out” to live music from Times Square, we rang in the new year to Baby Einstein’s Lullaby Classics- The Music Box Edition.

Black eyed peas and champaign were quickly replaced with bottles, diapers and Settler’s of Catan. Thanks Nana, for letting this new Mom win a game or two!

Class of 2030

We really that this is ridiculous! Addison's only 2 days old and already in an A&M outfit. We got home just in time to watch the Aggies take on Penn State in the Alamo Bowl. Ben was hoping that our family enthusiasm would bring good fortune to the A&M offense, but no such luck. Gramps and Addi slept right through all of the screaming and cussing. Here’s to a more promising basketball season!

Welcome Baby Addison!

So this is what we've been waiting 9 months for. I thought this day would never come. Addison arrived almost 2 weeks early, right in between Christmas and New Year’s. I'm thrilled with her early debut & Ben loves the tax break.

The whole family showed up for Addison's big day. Grammy and Grandpa were the first to arrive, Nana and Gramps  drove down from Colleyville, and Grandmother & Pop made it just in time. Even Cody & Yuly joined in the excitement! What a wonderful family to be joining!

Addison Elizabeth was born at 3:02 pm, weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18 inches long. She has dark brown hair (like Dad) and beautiful deep blue eyes. I'm hoping that these baby blues stick around!  She  was the star of the show in the nursery. Ben made sure that  she was sporting maroon & white. Even the nurses thought she was adorable. It’s only day one, but we're loving every minute with our new little Addi!
