sits on who knows how many acres?! It looks like it’s out of a magazine!

Easter Sunday

Easter reminds me of just how much I have to be thankful for. 

I am thankful for family & friends who love us dearly. 

I am thankful for our health and well being. 

I am thankful for Addi. 

But most of all, I’m thankful for my Savior 

who died & rose again 

to give eternal life to all who take refuge in Him. 

Praise the Lord that salvation is not earned, 

but is a free gift. 

We rest solely on His LOVE, His GRACE, and His MERCY.

We spent Easter with the Harris family this year. When we are up there, we visit Gateway Church in Southlake and love it. Pastor Morris gave an awesome message on Sunday. 

Nana made all of us girls, matching aprons. Too cute. Maybe it will entice me to spend more time in the kitchen...

A Slower Pace

We headed out to the Hill Country this past weekend with the O’Reilly’s and the Paxton’s. 

Reagan’s deer lease, near Comfort, was a great escape from the city. With our own room, bathroom & fully-stocked kitchen, it was far from “roughin’ it”. 

The guys spent the day doing “guy stuff”, while us girls drove to Fredericksburg to do a little antique shopping. 4 hours later & only 1 item purchased, we gave up on finding the perfect bargain and settled for ice-cream instead. Addison made the trip and had some memorable moments of her own. Here she is in her deer slippers from Aunt Tami & a video of us watching the sunset. Classic.
