Falling behind

My blogging in July has been somewhat lacking. You see, my friend Lindsay twisted my arm & got me totally wrapped up into this new blog of hers that's super cute & super fun. We're only a few weeks into it, but already have posts about crafty projects and home decorating ideas. Sydney got her ears pierced!

I love this picture with her disheveled hair. She's come to despise hair bows. Leave it to the earrings to keep her girlified.

Happy 4th!

The rain let up just long enough for our little backyard bash this weekend. The guys grilled burgers & manned the backyard chaos of big kids while us ladies had the terrible task of eating chips and queso & lovin' on sweet babies in the a.c.. Our friends brought the coolest "slip & slide"ever for the kids to play on. Grandparents. Pay attention! This thing is awesome! Between it and our kiddie pool, these kids could have played for hours!
